Lock Description
Battery-Free, Powered by “Capture Technology”
A groundbreaking innovation, ECHO is completely battery-free, power free and wire free. It uses NFC technology to harvest the tiny amount of energy it needs to lock and unlock the lock. All that’s needed is a mobile network connection or WiFi connection.
ECHO now has full personalisation available.
ECHO is more than an evolution of the lock – it’s a real advance in lock sustainability.
ECHO eliminates adverse environmental impacts and challenges related to battery maintenance, storage, and disposal. By choosing ECHO for your locker installation, you will improve your carbon footprint credentials by reducing e-waste, lowering energy consumption, minimising maintenance requirements, and extending the lifespan of your locking devices.
Flexible operating modes
Available in three operating modes, the ECHO lock is configured and controlled using the ECHO Mobile App (available on both iOS and Android platforms). You can set or change the mode of the lock at any time, all within the Mobile App.
In Private Mode, end users are granted exclusive access to lockers by the storage provider.
With a choice of two Public Modes, end users either request access to locker by downloading the Echo App and registering, or end users must download the ECHO App when sent an email invite from the storage provider.
Comprehensive Web Portal
For larger businesses or those that require more control, the ECHO locks can be administered though the Web Portal. As Standard the dashboard gives you an overview of all the ECHO locks, availability and who is using them. It also allows you to bulk upload email addresses. The Pro version gives you advanced functionality including usage reporting by lock and the ability to restrict the number of locks per user.
Applications for this innovative lock are endless and include workspace storage, asset management, tourist attractions, transport hubs and sports clubs to name but a few.
